The Realm of the Desert Elephant also explores the lives of the semi-nomadic Himba people. Every photograph was taken by Chris specifically for this book and superbly illustrates the vast variety of the landscapes and wildlife of the area. The book includes wonderful aerial photography to further demonstrate the rich diversity of the region. The Realm of the Desert Elephant is a stunning tribute to the beauty of this wonderful and unique region.

L'Autore

Chris Wildblood was first taught to develop photographs when he was 10 years old. For nearly 20 years he ran his own studio complexes in London, dealing with top photographers in the fashion, music, advertising and magazine worlds and dealing with companies ranging from the BBC and Conde Nast to EMI. He has won various awards for his underwater and wildlife photos. Chris is also a dive-master, yacht-master and a pilot, and can often be found exploring the seas and oceans, from Scotland to Indonesia.
